Price extensions for AdWords were launched last year by Google, initially just on mobile devices. But, now, Google is rolling out the price extension to all devices including desktops.

Specific product or service prices can now be added to ads and will sit alongside the main text of each ad itself, giving the user a clear indication of the cost of the product or service they’re seeing.

The new extension can make it easier for users to compare prices of a number of products/services you offer, such as in the example given by Google, whereby users looking for apartments with could see a number of differing apartments and specs, and their respective prices. Or, as in the image above, you can showcase a number of different products that you offer at different price-points, allowing the user to get a good understanding of your price scale and be able to easily discount those that aren’t suitable or within budget, or take a closer look at those that are.
