Are you looking for a ‘Sessions per page’ table in Google Analytics? You may have noticed that it’s not actually there. Mira is going to explain why…

“In addition to the number of page views, people often need to know how many sessions included a certain page. However with GA, they might be surprised to find that there’s no ‘Sessions’ column available in the Pages report.

Well, it is there, just in a slightly different guise. Within GA’s Pages report it’s actually listed ‘Unique pageviews’.

What makes this all a bit tricky is that you can also pull out a ‘Sessions per page’ table if you’re using custom reporting or customized dashboards. But beware: this table does NOT tell you how many sessions contained a certain page. Instead, it tells you how many times a certain page was the first page of a visit.
