Google has been rolling out its new Google Analytics 360 Suite over the last year, but it’s also been keeping its main (and free) analytics tool updated as well. If you’re a GA user you may now be noticing some new UI and features.

All of the key aspects of your business analytics are now provided as an overview on the new Home page, including:

  • Snippets from curated GA reports, including real-time data, with simple and streamlined controls
  • Snippets are preceded by a question to help frame the data on show
  • Hover over data points for more details or click the provided link on each card to drill down deeper
  • The Home page will be automatically configured based upon your GA set up e.g. if you have Goals or Ecommerce, you’ll see the Home page change accordingly to show you the most relevant data

The previous ‘landing page’, Audience Overview, is still available under the Audience section of the side-bar menu.

New features, fixes and enhancements come thick and fast in GA, so there’s now an easy place to find all the latest info – the “Discover” page.

This page will show you the latest GA info, as well as products and experiences you might find useful to work in conjunction with your GA account and experience.

These two new features will be rolling out to all users over the coming weeks, so keep your eyes peeled for the new changes.
